Personal life

A kid born in 1995 and raised in a world that was just beginning to embrace the digital age. The first computer i used was in 2007—and with it, my journey into the world of gaming began. I gravitated towards single-player games, fascinated by how they guided you through decisions, challenges, and discoveries. These weren’t just games; they were well-crafted experiences. I always wondered—how do they know what I’m looking for? Who designed this to feel so intuitive?

But creativity wasn’t limited to a screen. In 2009, I got my first taste of acting when I auditioned for a Kannada drama in school. To my surprise, I landed the lead role in a story about red and black ants uniting to fight a spider (ondu gumpu irruvegalu). The stage lit something in me. I loved becoming different people, stepping into new stories, and connecting with an audience. I went on to play the king in Panjara Shale and later, in 2016, performed in an English play called The Alien—three shows, same character. Acting became my way of understanding people. Their emotions. Their motivations. Their behavior.

Fast forward to adulthood—I earned my degree in BBA and stepped into the world of entrepreneurship. From 2018 to 2020, I ran a fabrication factory I inherited from my father. But then came 2020—the year of COVID. The factory slowed down, the world paused, and I found myself turning back to the screen. Gaming once again became my escape, but this time, I went deeper. I started learning Blender, built my first donut (a rite of passage!), and experimented with animated GIFs. Eventually, I pushed my graphic card to its limit it got busted—but my curiosity had only just begun.

That pandemic period taught me something profound. There are so many digital products around us—apps, websites, tools—that quietly shape our lives. And I wanted to be a part of that. I wanted to create experiences that helped people, guided them, and even empowered them. I didn’t just want to consume tech—I wanted to understand it, design it, and improve it.

My Career Story

As a 90s kid, I was always curious about how technology worked—why apps and software knew what we were searching for, and how those interfaces felt so natural to use. I had a deep curiosity for Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and later, Human-Machine Interaction (HMI). The idea that someone, somewhere, designed these digital experiences fascinated me.

I started small—solving problems I observed in everyday user experiences. I practiced identifying exact pain points where people struggled and where design could intervene. I believed that users should always know there’s a way out—that help is never far. I started building personas—but not in the typical way. I focused not on assuming how users would use a product, but on understanding the problems they faced. That shift in mindset helped me create better journeys, better flows, and ultimately, better designs.

From sketching UI on paper to exploring tools like Figma, I began to grasp how thoughtful design could elevate user experiences. This journey led me to something I truly fell in love with: design systems. My brain naturally spots patterns and similarities, so the idea of a structured, scalable design solution was irresistible.

Why I do what I do

I’m a designer, builder, and curious thinker—still that kid who always wanted to understand how things work.
My background in Acting taught me how to step into someone else’s world; UX lets me use that every day—whether it’s helping a frustrated user or guiding a patient through something complex.

Tech was never just screens to me—it was puzzles. I naturally gravitate toward the structure behind design: spotting patterns, fixing what's broken, and bringing order to chaos. That’s why I love working with design systems—they’re blueprints that help teams move faster and design with purpose.

Designing for real people, while telling stories through tech—that’s where I do my best work
